Donald Trump Opens Up About His Late Brother Fred

President Donald Trump said he thinks his late brother Fred would be very proud of what hes done since taking office in January.

In an interview with Fox News Jeanine Pirro that aired Saturday, Trump spoke about the influences ofhis brother, who died in 1981 at the age of 43.

He had a very profound impact on my life, and I learned a lot from Fred, Trump said.

Trump has noted before that he learned from his brothers struggle with alcoholism. The president said hes confident his brother would be proud of his work in the White House.

Hes telling me, Just keep doing what youre doing because were having a great impact, Trump said.

Fred would be looking down and he would say, Keep going, and I would tell you if it were different, he added.

Pirros interview with Trump covered a variety of topics, including the wall Trump has proposed building along the U.S.-Mexico border and the search for a new FBI director. Trump also spoke about the White Houses relationship with the media, suggesting he may eliminate press conferences in favor of addressing the media himself.
